JUMBO Fava Bean Seeds

JUMBO Fava Bean Seeds supplied as a seed pack for sowing and cultivation. Favas are a popular bean in the Mediterranean, where they are used both as a fresh shell bean or left on the plant to dry. Our variety is easy to grow with strong, vigorous plants that are relatively tolerant of cooler conditions. The pods are dark green and shiny and produce a high ratio of three extra-large beans per pod. Pinching the first central shoots can encourage heavier yields. Suitable for outdoor culture in warm seasons and for greenhouse culture. Matures in about 80-90 days from direct sow. Suitable for kitchen gardens, nursery use, grow bags and farm cultivation as per local season and climate.
